MSME BIZ UP’s Second General Membership Meeting to Strengthen Quezon Businesses

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Quezon Province held its second general membership meeting and MSME Biz Up on July 28, 2026, at Ouan’s Worth Farm and Resort Corp. “Navigating the Shift: Building Resilient and Future-Ready MSMEs,” the event’s theme, highlighted how the business environment is evolving and how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) need to prepare and become more resilient.

Members of the business community, government representatives, and various partner agencies discussed opportunities and strategies for business development, digital transformation, and MSMEs’ capacity building.

The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, exhibit tours, talks and messages from partner organizations like PLDT, an open forum, the signing of Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), as well as an awarding ceremony for previous presidents.

Participants in the program included Quezon Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer EnP. Emmanuel S. Querubin, DTI Quezon Planning Officer Ms. Ma. Angelica O. Holgado, PCA IV-A Regional Manager Bibiano C. Concibido, Jr., DOST Provincial Director Maria Esperanza E. Jawili, TESDA PTC Administrator Julius N. Abancio, Ms. Maria Kristina “Kirk” R. Coronel of Thermal Luzon, and WeGen Philippines Regional Sales Manager Mr. Edmon Dela Paz.

Vice Governor Anacleto A. Alcala III served as the special guest, delivering a message to the attendees and leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Meanwhile, Atimonan Mayor Atty. Elvis Uy and Sampaloc Mayor Nicolas Andre Devanadera were also among those in attendance.

Through this activity, PCCI Quezon Province under the leadership of President Rhealou C. Nieto continues to emphasize the importance of unity and cooperation so that MSMEs in the province can not only keep up with change, but also be stronger and prepared for the future /Mary Salcedo
