Quezon Governor Dr. Helen Tan personally visited the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday, August 7, to meet with PCSO Chief of Staff Jeremy Regino and discuss the proposed installation of a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) at the Quezon Provincial Hospital Network–Quezon Medical Center (QPHN–QMC).
The proposed project is expected to significantly improve Quezon residents’ access to advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment. With a LINAC facility available within the province, patients will have greater access to modern and quality cancer care without having to travel far for specialized medical services.
The Provincial Government of Quezon expressed its sincere appreciation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, led by General Manager Melquiades “Mel” Robles, for their continued support of initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare services.
The planned LINAC facility represents an important step toward providing more accessible, efficient, and modern medical care for cancer patients across the province of Quezon /Angel Sabate
