Turnover of Medical Equipment to QMC and PHO Conducted Under “Wheels for Life: Saving Moms and Babies in Quezon Province, Philippines”

Admin July 22, 2026 1 min read

On July 20, the project “Wheels for Life: Saving Moms and Babies in Quezon Province, Philippines,” was conducted. The purpose of this initiative aims to expand the capacity of health facilities in the province by providing essential medical equipment that will help provide faster, efficient, and quality care, especially for mothers and babies.

The program is a collaborative effort among various organizations to support the Quezon Provincial Government’s initiatives to strengthen maternal and child health services and improve access to safer, more affordable healthcare for Quezonians through the donation of medical and non-medical equipment.

The turnover ceremony and signing of the deed of donation was led by Governor Doctor Helen Tan and Provincial Health Officer III Dr. Kristin Mae-Jean Villaseñor, along with representatives from the Rotary Club of Taree (Australia), Rotary Club of Lucena, The Rotary Foundation, UP Kalilayan Alumni Association (UPKAA), and Philippine American Medical Association in Georgia (PAMAG).

From these initiatives, the Quezon Provincial Government continues to strengthen its partnerships with private organizations and institutions to help build a more resilient healthcare system and improve the delivery of services to every citizen /Hannah Amparo
