On this Monday, July 13, Governor Doctor Helen Tan went to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to meet with Secretary Rex Gatchalian.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino (4Ps), as well as to maintain lower poverty levels in the province by the Provincial Government’s and DSDW’s initiative programs.
The meeting also discussed the unanimous proposal for Philhealth related to the approval of agreement of the first 1,000 Days Program, an important act that Governor Tan primarily authorized when she served as a representative in the Congress.
The Quezon Provincial Government continues to collaborate with DSWD, and other agencies and partner organizations to further strengthen the delivery of social services and be able to meet the needs of every Quezonian for a more healthy and prosperous inclusive province /Hannah Amparo
