
This Monday, July 13, the 53rd Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan was successfully held at the SP Session Hall, Lucena City.
Resolutions authorizing Governor Dr. Helen Tan to sign contracts with the Philippine Business for Social Progress, Inc. for the acceptance of donations—including medical and non-medical equipment, IT-related items, and transportation vehicles under the TB (ACCESS TB) Project were approved on the second reading during the session. Additionally, a contract with Go Share Philippines was approved for the transfer of a dental chair and X-ray machine to the Quezon Provincial Hospital Network Polillo.
A resolution authorizing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the Local Health System Integration program by Governor Dr. Helen Tan was approved. The goal of this collaboration between the Department of Health Center for Health Development IV-A, the Provincial Government of Quezon, and PhilHealth Regional Office IV-A is to enhance healthcare services and give Quezon residents better support.
Ordinances pertaining to health, social welfare, transportation, business, agriculture, environmental protection, and other public services have been passed by various towns and cities in Quezon.
By taking these steps, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan keeps developing policies and programs that meet community needs and enhance public services for Quezon citizens /Mary Salcedo
