The Quezon Provincial Hospital Network-Quezon Medical Center (QPHN-QMC) celebrated its 102nd founding anniversary on July 31, 2026, commemorating more than a century of healthcare service to the people of Quezon. The program, centered on the theme “Run, Rise, Serve: 102 Years of QPHN-QMC Healing,” began with a Holy Mass, followed by the formal opening, a flag ceremony led by SOLCOM, and messages from Chief of Hospital Dr. Juan Eugenio Fidel B. Villanueva and Board Member Dr. Keith Mikhal “Doc Kim” D.L. Tan.
A highlight of the event was the flower-offering ceremony at President Manuel Luis Quezon y Molina’s monument, which is located in the QPHN-QMC Healing Garden.
An award and recognition ceremony was also held to honor staff members and divisions who demonstrated excellence, dedication, and exceptional contributions to service. Awards given included Most Promising Employee, Office of the Year, Best Employee, Most Promising Employee of the Year, Most Outstanding Office of the Year, Most Outstanding Employee of the Year, and other special citations. Dr. Augustina M. Cabangon delivered the program’s concluding remarks.
For 102 years, QPHN-QMC has been a vital part of many Quezonians’ lives—not just as a medical service provider, but also as a haven of hope, healing, and compassion.
The celebration was a tribute to every doctor, nurse, healthcare worker, staff member, and partner who has continued to serve despite the challenges of the times /Lee Amion
