Aguyod for the Win
A total of 295 campers from elementary school and 66 campers from secondary school joined the 5-week learning camp, which aims to “close learning gaps and assist K to12 learners in all public elementary and secondary schools in attaining learning standards. It was indeed a celebration of success.
Campers were provided with activities with greater depth, breadth, and complexity in learning areas such as mathematics, reading, and science. Targeted interventions were given to students to fill in any knowledge gaps and assist them in developing their abilities.
SDO Milesstone
Schools Division Superintendent Celedonio Balderas Jr. announced the conversion of six schools into integrated schools. Alsam,Mate, Eugenio Francia, Busal, Ilasan, and Pandakake fully complied with the requirements prescribed by existing guidelines and policies of DepEd.
Balderas said students are in need of an accessible high school within their community.
With a clear vision, SDO Tayabas will attend to the needs and address the gross shortage of public schools to reduce the number of out-of-school youths. Batang Tayabasin will be able to access basic education at a lower cost and meet the growing educational needs.
