The southwest monsoon (habagat) and the easterlies will bring rain to several parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tuesday.
Habagat will trigger scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan, while the easterlies will affect Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region. Moderate to heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides in these areas.
The rest of the country may experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to habagat and localized thunderstorms, with flash floods or landslides still possible during severe weather.
Moderate winds and seas will prevail over the western section of Luzon, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters. PAGASA also said it is not monitoring any low-pressure area that could develop into a tropical cyclone /Elijah Orencia
